Emilia Clarke is all smiles as she steps out in New York

She recently revealed she suffered two brain aneurysms while filming Game Of Thrones.  

And Emilia Clarke was in high spirits as she stepped out in New York City to attend The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on Tuesday.

The actress, 32, who plays 'Mother of Dragons' Daenerys Targaryen, oozed style in a black and white houndstooth blazer she draped nonchalantly over her shoulders.

Emilia opted for a black long-sleeved turtle neck sweater and dark skinny jeans which she tied together with a Gucci belt.

Putting her best foot forward, Emilia paired her chic look with pointed heeled boots and a black bucket bag. 

The actress finished the chic look with a statement pair of tortoiseshell earrings and stylish sunglasses, while wearing her brunette tresses in a dramatic bob.

It comes as the highly anticipated eighth season of Game of Thrones is set to air on Sunday, April 14.

And Emilia thanked fans this week fans for their support after she revealed she suffered and survived two brain aneurysms while filming Game Of Thrones.

The actress took to Instagram, a day after first sharing her traumatic story, to offer 'a million thank yous' to everyone who had 'sent her love'.

Emilia shared in a candid interview with the The New Yorker that she had her first aneurysm in 2011. 

She said: 'Just when all my childhood dreams seemed to have come true, I nearly lost my mind and then my life. I’ve never told this story publicly, but now it’s time.'
