She rose to fame as feisty doctor Christina Yang on the hit medical drama Grey's Anatomy.
And now, Sandra Oh, 47, has spoken to Marie Claire about the moment she found out she got the lead role in the acclaimed BBC drama Killing Eve.
'I was like, "What's my part?" When my agent said, "You're f**king Eve," I just couldn't see it. I couldn't see myself in a leading role... It's like a f**king shard in my heart,' she recalled.

The actress continued: 'We work really hard because we love what we do, but we understand how important it is to be visible and to see ourselves, right? To catch myself in a moment where I'm still not doing that was really difficult.'
Her role as MI5 agent Eve Polastri in the gripping killer series has earned her a slew of awards.
She won an Emmy for Best Actress in a Drama and a Golden Globe for Best Actress in Television Series Drama.
Sandra also received a SAG Award for Best Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Drama Series.
