Kit Harington says Jon Snow of Game Of Thrones will 'forever be his favorite ...

He has played the role of Jon Snow ever since Game Of Thrones made its debut in 2011. 

And with the final and eighth season premiering tonight on HBO, Kit Harington has revealed his character will forever be his favorite to play and always hold a place in his heart. 

Speaking to on Sunday Today, the 32-year-old star revealed the show had also given him his 'possible family' - having met wife Rose Leslie on set.

'Thrones, it's given me possibly my future family. It's given me my wife, it's given me friends for life. It's got a character I love, I will love, more than any other character I'll ever play,' he said. 

'There isn't a way of saying thank you to it enough. There never will be and I think that comes back to the question of "How do you feel that it's finishing?" There aren't words to describe how I feel about it.' 

And while the cast and crew have been sworn to secrecy, Kit has revealed that he was happy with the way things wrapped up for him - although not everyone may be thrilled.

Speaking on the Graham Norton show earlier in the week, Kit revealed that he broke down in tears when a fan asked if he was Jon Snow.
