Britney Spears is asking for a restraining order against her former manager Sam Lutfi.
The 37-year-old entertainer's attorneys, according to TMZ, said in paperwork filed Tuesday with the Los Angeles County Superior Court that Lutfi has been repeatedly texting Britney's mother Lynne, and trying to incite her fans with the #freebritney movement. (The latter refers to a theory circulating online that Britney is being held against her will amid her recent stint at a mental health treatment center.)
Lufti has posted 'disparaging and threatening comments' against the star and her family in recent weeks, Spears' legal team said in court docs.
