Art imitates life for Tilda Swinton and her daughter Honor Swinton Byrne in the independent film The Souvenir.
The pair play mother and daughter on screen in the romantic drama that premiered at Sundance in January and opens in theatres on May 17.
The actresses opted for contrasting yet complementary outfits for the film's screening in New York on Tuesday night.

Tilda, 58, arrived wearing a long black coat with sparkly detailing.
She wore it buttoned up over a white top and black slacks and added pointed toe black heels.
Her light blonde hair was styled in a quiff at the front and tucked back behind her ears, one of which was decorated with a diamond cuff.
