Channel 10 has hammered the final nail in the coffin for Pointless by announcing the airdate for its replacement show, Celebrity Name Game, this week.

Celebrity Name Game, which is hosted by Grant Denyer, will debut on Monday, May 13 at 6pm, the time slot formerly occupied by Pointless.

The decision will no doubt please Grant, 41, whose long-running quiz show Family Feud was axed last year due to low ratings.
