In A-Rod's most recent YouTube blog, 'I Almost Missed The Met Gala', the baseball legend appeared image-obsessed as he chronicled his intense preps 'not to look fat' alongside his famous fiancee at the 2019 Met Gala in New York City last Monday.
His goal was to trim in the two days leading to the lavish event and fit into a size 44 Versace tuxedo — despite usually wearing a 48.

The former New York Yankee walked viewers through his pre-party routine that included jogging, yoga twice a day, stair-running and sweat-inducing suit.
He also kept to a no carbs and no sugar diet that was capped off by a 24-hour fast of water only on the final day.
'I used to exercise for big games against the Red Sox, now I exercise to not look fat,' A-rod joked in the video as he lifted gold mini-dumbbells inside his swanky Manhattan apartment.
