Three years since her final appearance in Line Of Duty as DI Lindsay Denton, Keeley Hawes is to star as a real-life detective in new ITV drama Honour.

The actress - who has since appeared in the likes of Bodyguard, Mrs Wilson and The Hollow Crown - will portray Detective Chief Inspector Caroline Goode, who brought five killers to justice in the heartbreaking true story of Banaz Mahmod, the young Londoner murdered by her own family for falling in love with the wrong man.

The 43-year-old star - who will also executive produce the project, which is being made in association with her company Buddy's Club - said: 'It is a privilege to be working on Honour as Buddy Club's first-ever project.
