Iain Lee claims furious Strictly Come Dancing bosses were forced to change the order of their celebrity reveals after he predicted the names of the first three contestants on Wednesday morning’s edition of Good Morning Britain.
The showbiz correspondent appeared to be break protocol by claiming presenter Anneka Rice, Made in Chelsea star Jamie Laing and former England manager Sam Allardyce would be the first names confirmed for long-running talent show, hours before the official announcement.
But his predictions proved to be wide of the mark when EastEnders actress Emma Barton, comedian Chris Ramsey and retired footballer David James were announced on BBC’s The One Show later that day.

But speaking on Thursday morning, Lee, 46, stood by his original announcement, while claiming BBC bosses purposely reshuffled the order of their celebrity unveilings at the eleventh hour.
He told Good Morning Britain: 'Now the sneaky One Show, what they did was I got those predictions right but they then flipped it and announced three different people.
'And I got so much abuse on Twitter and my radio show last night because I'd said who'd be on Strictly! Those three are still definitely going in.'
