Simon Cowell has plans for a global edition of the Got Talent competition show, which will see the best competitors of every series compete against one another.
The music mogul, 59, revealed on Wednesday that he hopes to create an Olympic-style spin-off that would air every four years.
Speaking to The Sun about his plans, he explained: 'I started thinking about maybe making it like the Olympics of Got Talent, but that would only be every four years.
New ideas: Simon Cowell revealed on Wednesday that he plans to make an Olympic-style global edition of Got Talent where competitors from every series can participate
'So all the Got Talent shows from around the world send that year's winner to compete against all the other winners. I think it would be brilliant because you'd be rooting for your country.
'That is way more interesting than just carrying on doing the same thing we do every year, because there's got to be a progression. I think it would be amazing!'
Simon has already announced new versions of his various competition show, including Celebrity X Factor, X Factor: All Stars, and Britain’s Got Talent: The Champions.
Future plans: Simon intends the show to air 'every four years' as it's 'more interesting' to make a show that'll show 'progression'
