Troubled character Lisa was last seen in Walford in 2017 after making an ill-fated attempt to kidnap teenage daughter Louise Mitchell amid a mental breakdown.
But the character is set to make a huge comeback once more as she discovers Louise is pregnant.
Lucy revealed to The Mirror that she 'couldn't be more excited' to be stepping back into the shoes of the iconic character, who famously shot ex Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) back in 2001.
She said: 'Going back to EastEnders feels like going home. I love and adore playing Lisa, and am looking forward to seeing what’s in store for her this time.'
