Emmerdale star Laura Norton has confirmed she can finally start planning her wedding to fiancée Mark Jordon, after he was cleared of assault in August.
The actress, 36, praised her 'dreamboat' husband-to-be, 54, on Tuesday's Lorraine, after she stood by him during his trial for allegedly attacking Andrew Potts in July 2018.
Laura was a guest on Lorraine to speak about her character Kerry Wyatt's dramatic Emmerdale storyline, which has seen her struggle to hide her involvement in the factory fire which killed Frank Clayton.

Speaking about her relationship with Mark - who left Emmerdale last year - she explained: 'We met on set and then we became friends throughout the next couple of years, and then it just grew from there. So it's really good.
'I don't know what other people say that are in a relationship, but we'd love it, he's just a dreamboat and the thing of having that trust of being able to go to certain places you might not be able with other actors.'
Lorraine then briefly touched on Mark's trial after he was accused of assaulting Andrew Potts by biting him on the face in July 2018 outside the Farrars Arms in Oldham.
A jury found the actor not guilty of affray, unlawful wounding and assault by beating, after Mark denied the charges and claimed he was acting in self-defence.

Having been at his side throughout the trial, Laura went onto say she and Mark are now looking forward to planning their wedding. The couple confirmed their engagement in January.
