He left the Bachelorette mansion in tears on Thursday night's episode, after deciding to fly back to England following the tragic death of his grandmother.

But months after filming his sad farewell, Ciarran Stott appeared to be in much happier spirits as he began his media rounds in Sydney on Friday morning.

The former Army rifleman, 25, was spotted leaving The Star Grand Hotel in Pyrmont, just a stone's throw away from Channel 10's headquarters.

Ciarran flashed a smile as he showed off his various tattoos in a Boston Celtics basketball jersey and a pair of blue and white trackpants. 

A driver carried three of his suitcases while the Englishman spoke with one of the hotel's employees.
