The final episode of the iconic comedy sketch show aired in December 2015. 

But now, Little Britain creators David Walliams, 48, and Matt Lucas, 45, are 'talking about' reviving the series, with the Britain's Got Talent judge admitting that the pair 'would love' to revisit the programme.

The comedians' plans were revealed by author and funny man David when he appeared on Monday's episode of This Morning.

Host Holly Willoughby asked: 'So Little Britain? Just to put that to bed slightly, or is there going to be more?'

David admitted: 'Well we might do, we are just talking about it at the moment! 

'Matt has his last night in Les Miserables stage show tonight and we are meeting up to speak about our future plans.

'We did a special episode called Little Brexit that we started on Radio 4 and yeah we would love to do more or maybe something new!'
