Greg Wise has revealed a 'witchy friend' predicted he would meet the love of his life 'just before' he met Emma Thompson.
The actor, 53, met his activist spouse, 60, on the set of Sense and Sensibility in 1995 before they went on to marry in 2003, after eight of dating.
Speaking to Stacey Solomon, Saira Khan, Jane Moore and Andrea McLean on Monday's episode of Loose Women he recalled the strange tale.

He recalled: 'It was a witchy friend of mine. Just before we shot Sense and Sensibility this witchy mate of mine said you will meet the love of your life.'
But Greg was stumped when he arrived on the period drama's set to find Kate Winslet was the only single woman, noting the Titanic actress was, 'very gorgeous obviously, but not for me'.

Greg, Emma and Gaia also posed with a host of other stars including Sir Ian McKellen, Samantha Bond, Sir Derek Jacobi, Anne Reid and comedian David Mitchell.
It comes after Emma branded Meryl Streep 'a very good snogger' as she rated her on-screen kisses during a recent interview on BBC Radio 1's Dev and Alice.
