She was forced to pull out of her panto stint due to a mystery illness over the festive season leaving fans worried for her health.
But now Katie McGlynn, 26, is back to her best, telling Closer she is feeling 'more confident than ever' after losing a stone in weight.
The former Coronation street actress discussed her final months on the show where she onscreen character, Sinead Tinker, lost her battle with cervical cancer.

She said that during filming, she found comfort in eating: 'I was snacking on biscuits in the green room and eating flapjacks made by the crew when I was exhausted.'
Long days on set filming such harrowing scenes left the star feeling 'too lethargic' and 'tired' to eat properly.
However it was not until it began to impact her physical health that she felt she needed to make a difference.
The blonde Beauty revealed 'I was usually between a size 8-10 when ordering clothes, but I was creeping up to a size 12, which isn't bad at all, but it was bigger than I usually am.'
