They costarred as childhood best friends in a film together almost 20 years ago, and now one of the film's actresses is publicly voicing concern for her former costar's well-being.
Taryn Manning took to her Instagram account on Monday night with a black and white throwback post featuring a still from the 2002 film Crossroads, in which she costarred with pop star Britney Spears.
In the caption, Manning, 41, voiced concern for Spears, 38, in a slightly meandering message in which she hinted that fans hit her up 'daily to do something' on behalf of the singer.

'Not trying to get likes I could care less. I am worried about my friend and co-star,' Manning wrote next to the still of the pair smiling in the film with their costar Zoe Saldana.
'Too many times we let one go a-stray and never bother to poke our heads around. "Not my chair, not my problem",' the Orange Is The New Black starlet continued.
'Hey, least we aren’t walking into a gas chamber out of left field today #love @britneyspears ❤️' Taryn continued, perhaps hinting that it's important to stay proactively aware of a person's mental health ahead of any problems.
'For all of you who hit me daily to do something. I hear you now! We care,' she concluded. 'Voice away angels this is your playground❤️ can’t phase us anymore. she is my focus. ❤️ loving you'
