Michelle Bridges has opened up about life in isolation during the coronavirus pandemic.

The personal trainer told Channel Seven's The Morning Show that she's found the restrictions difficult because she's usually such a regimented and active person.

'I’ve always been that person to say habits, rituals, and routines - and I think now more than ever, they’re the things that we have to cling to in order to have some normality,' the 49-year-old.

'I do find that if I get up in the morning, and I get some exercise done, it really sets me up for the day - both physically and mentally as well,' she continued.

Despite sticking to a routine, Michelle admitted that she still has her lazy days from time to time.

'That being said, I still have found myself in my pajamas at two o'clock in the afternoon, so hey, I'm not perfect!'
