Sunrise newsreader Natalie Barr is covering the presidential election in the U.S.

And on Wednesday, the 52-year-old journalist snapped back at an Instagram follower who criticised her for travelling to the States amid the Covid-19 pandemic. 

The troll left an ignorant comment about Natalie 'not protecting herself' after she shared a behind-the-scenes photo from the White House in Washington, D.C.

Natalie was sitting on a stool in the corner of the White House press room, while surrounded by equipment.

She had a microphone in hand as she recorded a voice-over for a story. The photo was taken by Sunrise cameraman Beau Molloy. 

Natalie joked in her caption: 'The glamour.'
