On the heels of the April 30 premiere, Jodie Turner-Smith opened up about the special military training she went through in preparation for her role as Lt. Commander Karen Greer, alongside her co-stars that included Michael B. Jordan and Jamie Bell.
It turns out the British-born actress, 34, was in the second trimester of her pregnancy when the cast endured rigorous boot camp-style training to be in top physical shape for the demanding film.

'[Training] wasn't straightforward because I was pregnant, so that definitely added a layer of complexity to it,' the actress, 34, revealed in an interview with Variety
'But I went after it. I gave it all of myself.'
