On Sunday the star revealed that her daughter Ava, 13, rewrote the lyrics to David Bowie's hit song Starman for her fiancé Simon Motson, 45, as a Father's Day present.

Taking to Instagram, the former Hear'Say singer posted a video of her eldest child playing the guitar and singing, with her little sister Hero, 10, joining in on vocals. Myleene shares her daughters with ex-husband Graham Quinn.

Ava also shared a video montage of the blended family spending time together, to her own Instagram page, with her version of the 1972 song as soundtrack, and thanked her soon-to-be step-dad for 'stepping up'.

Ava captioned her post: 'I wrote this song for my Dad (with some help from Bowie). Thanks for stepping up. I love you.'

She also typed out the lyrics, which read: 'Sure he wasn't there for my first steps, But he hasn't missed a school run yet, And if I need someone to turn to, Yeah I know where to go.

'People at school always have so much to say, Is he really your dad if you don't share DNA, But I gotta laugh, cause here's what I always say,

'He's the best man living in my life, His love for us is endless, And he's always got the time, He's the best man living in my life, His patience never ending, Even when I've lost my mind,

'So Hey, Everyone who knows you, knows the lengths you go to, knows why we all love you.'
