Ollie Locke and his husband Gareth announced in May that they were trying to have a baby via surrogate, but in mid July declared that the attempt had been unsuccessful.
And now the TV personality has candidly spoken about the moment they heard the sad news, revealing that the Made In Chelsea camera crew was present at the time and that he knew their surrogate was delivering bad news 'as soon as I heard her voice'.
Speaking on Pretty Little Thing's Behind Closed Doors podcast, Ollie, 34, explained: 'We sat there on this very table and Chelsea were all around, and we started discussing the situation and suddenly… we heard her voice.'

Gareth continued: 'I said, as soon as I hear her voice, I'm gonna know exactly what it is. She was like ''hey…'' and my face dropped. Ollie looked at me and he was like, ''it's a no…'' and she said, ''I'm so sorry, it didn't work''. She was devastated.'
Ollie then revealed that they had allowed MIC cameras to be present for the phone call as they were 'so confident' that they were about to receive good news.
The star went on: 'No one knows this but, we were so confident it was going to be a ''all good we're pregnant'' that we decided to allow the cameras in that day to get the really positive news.'
Ollie shared in HELLO! magazine last month that their first attempt to have a child via IVF was unsuccessful, but insisted that they remained 'optimistic' and would try again.
