Nadia Bartel's friend and business partner Ellie Pearson has deleted her Instagram account, after accidentally uploading a video of the ex-AFL WAG breaking lockdown and 'snorting cocaine' last week.

On Thursday, the three-second clip showing Nadia, 36, sniffing white powder off a $1.50 Kmart plate went viral, with the mum-of-two sharing a grovelling apology on social media the following day.

And while Ellie did tell The Herald Sun that she was 'devastated' on Friday, she has yet to post a full statement regarding the clip - choosing to keep a low profile and delete her entire Instagram page instead.

The entrepreneur, who founded spray tan company Spray Aus alongside WAG Emily McKay, had over 8,500 followers on her account @ellie_pearson prior to its deletion.

Her page had been tagged multiple times by her close friends online, including Emily, before it was taken down amid the scandal.

It's believed she first set her account to private and stripped it of its photos, before deleting it in its entirety.

While it's not known why Ellie chose to delete the page, it could be due to the high number of negative comments she would have received in light of posting the footage.

Nadia shielded herself from some of the backlash by disabling comments on her Instagram page as soon as the scandal came to light.

While it's unclear exactly how long Ellie and Nadia have been friends, throwback photos seem to indicate that they've known each other since they were teenagers.

More recently, Nadia has referred to Ellie as her 'bestie' in social media posts.

Nadia and WAG Rebecca Judd are also partners in Ellie and Emily's Spray Aus company.

Nadia was filmed by Ellie breaking Melbourne's strict lockdown and snorting what is believed to be cocaine at a party on Thursday night.
