Michael Strahan became an official Good Morning America co-anchor in 2016 after his successful hosting gig on ABC's Live! with Kelly and Michael.

And the 49-year-old is not bidding farewell to morning news anytime soon, with Variety reporting on Wednesday that he is extending his contract.

Specifically, a source told the outlet that Strahan recently 'signed a new four-year deal with ABC News.'

Michael currently hosts the program alongside the likes of Robin Roberts and George Stephanopoulos.
