TV favourite Lorraine Kelly was joined by daughter Rose as she spoke to the Loose Women Ladies on Monday afternoon.
Lorraine,61, spoke candidly about her menopause journey and how the condition affected both of them.
Speaking to the panel she said 'I was joyless. When i went back home i went to the fountain of all knowledge, Dr Hilary he said, It's the menopause.'

Speaking via video link she said the 'It just sneaks up on you, We went on a lovely weekend to Spain and my husband looked at me and said you are not yourself.'
'Even i didn't really know so it just goes to show you that there is an awful lot of work to be done.
Rosie, 26, added 'you were just very down and quiet. It was gradual. Growing up you were always on TV so i never knew any different.'
Lorraine turned to Rosie and said, 'You said you didn't know much about it.'

Rosie replied, 'Nothing, I knew absolutely nothing. It was never spoken about in school, I don't talk about it to my friends.'
Lorraine then revealed Rosie has said it should be taught in school.
She explained, 'The way they get taught about things like relationships, you should be able to get that [education on the menopause] at school too.'
