Cleo Smith is found alive: Celebrities react to missing child's discovery in WA

Australian celebrities have reacted to the news missing four-year-old Cleo Smith has miraculously been found alive.

Cleo was found on Wednesday, 18 days after vanishing from her family's tent in a remote campsite in Western Australia. 

Sunrise star Edwina Bartholomew led the reactions on social media, writing: 'CLEO FOUND. Breaking news. The best possible outcome. Well done to WA Police.'

Swimmer Libby Trickett also wrote: 'I'm so happy she's alive and I hope she and her family can heal through such a traumatic experience. Sending love to them all.'

'Cleo Smith found alive and well in a lock house in Carnarvon. Now back safely in the arms of her parents. The best news,' journalist Lisa Wilkinson said.

Today Extra host David Campbell added: 'Breaking news. Cleo Smith has been found. I can only imagine the relief her parents must feel right now. The WA Police did an incredible job. They were tireless.'

'The best news to wake up to,' The Block contestant Tanya Guccione also agreed.

Former AFL star Brendan Fevola also wrote on Instagram: 'As a parent this is the most amazing news. Back in the mum's arms.'
