A joke Kim Kardashian made about her split from Kanye 'Ye' West while hosting Saturday Night Live last month was not prompted by the show's request.
Insiders with the NBC comedy show told TMZ that Kardashian, 41, brought the joke to the October 9 broadcast in a pre-written monologue.
Ye, 44, last week appeared on the podcast "Drinks Champs and complained that SNL was behind the joke, as part of a larger media spin about the split of the celeb couple after Kardashian filed for divorce this past February.
