The splashy CFDA Fashion Awards that took place in New York City on Wednesday evening brought out some of the biggest names in the modeling business from decades past.
Veterans took over the red carpet at The Pool Restaurant to prove that they still have what it takes to make a lasting impression.
Among the greats were Iman, 66, Carre Otis, 53, Beverly Johnson, 69, and Carolyn Murphy, 47.

Iman looked elegant in a black belted and sleeveless gown that made her look regal. She added platform heels.

She posed alone as she held her gray mini clutch purse.
Iman is a 66-year-old from Somalia who has posed for Gianni Versace, Thierry Mugler, Calvin Klein, Donna Karan and Yves Saint Laurent.
The star has two children: Alexandria Zahra Jones and Zulekha Haywood.

You go girl: Carre is a 53-year-old activist from Marin County, California who is best known for her Guess campaign in the 1990s as well as her starring role in Wild Orchid with Mickey Rourke, who went on to become her husband
Activist: Otis posted a photo to Instagram from the event where she said, 'As a model, I’ve experienced firsthand just how unregulated the fashion industry is: we face trafficking, wage theft, mental, emotional, and sexual abuse'
