She earned critical acclaim for her role in film A Star is Born, where she won the Oscar for Best Original Song, Shallow, at the 2019 Academy Awards.  

And on The Graham Norton Show on Thursday, Lady Gaga revealed that she felt 'no pressure' in living up to the hype when choosing her next film, House of Gucci.

'I didn't feel the pressure at all. I only work on things I believe in,' the 35-year-old said on the BBC show, when discussing her role as Patrizia Reggiani in the biographical crime drama based on the famed Gucci fashion empire.

She continued: 'I read the script and thought it really fascinating and interesting and then I met Ridley Scott and I was so excited to work with [co-star] Adam [Driver].' 

Lady Gaga received widespread acclaim for her role as struggling artist Ally in 2018 film A Star is Born, where she falls in love with seasoned musician Jackson Maine, played by Bradley Cooper.  

The Bad Romance singer worked with big-name stars in House of Gucci, including Al Pacino, and admitted to host Graham that the experience was a rollercoaster of emotions.

'It was terrifying, exciting, amazing, it's Al Pacino! He entirely transformed the landscape of acting in cinema and I have admired him for a long time,' she said.

The role also required Lady Gaga to speak in an Italian accent, and proving just how dedicated she was, she stayed in the accent for 'the whole of filming'.
