More reality stars have reacted with disgust over the vile social media posts of an axed Married At First Sight groom.

Bachelorette star Angie Kent and MAFS alum Natasha Spencer added their voices to those criticising Simon Blackburn after a string of videos resurfaced of him using vile homophobic and misogynistic language.

The FIFO miner, who was cast in the 2022 season of the reality TV show before being abruptly removed by Channel Nine, was called a 'pig' by former star Spencer.

'Enough is enough with this crap,' said the season seven bride, 'MAFS has got to go.

'This [Blackburn's firing] doesn't make up for the women you have endangered in previous seasons. Some poor woman was still paired with this pig for two weeks.'

Meanwhile, a 'mortified' Kent said Blackburn had 'an odd cult following of young men who think his behaviour is something to laugh about and look up to'.

Their comments followed almost universal uproar among former Married At First Sight contestants that Blackburn had been allowed on the show.

'Absolutely disgusting, he is going to cop it and I don't feel one bit sorry for him!' wrote 2021 season star Samantha Harvey on Instagram.

Harvey, who was famously cheated on by Cameron Dunne in her season of MAFS, also wrote: 'I never comment on this s**t but this guy is a grub!'

Hayley Vernon added: 'I can't believe what I've just listened to. Channel Nine needs to be held accountable.'

Another graduate of the series, Nasser Sultan, questioned the show's background checks on contestants.

'If this is true, MAFS has hit an all-time new low. What happened to it being fun? Now it's all about scandals!' he added.

Another former groom, Steve Burley, concurred: 'Nice background checks…'

Even stars from other reality franchises were horrified, with Bachelor in Paradise alum Jake Ellis commenting: 'Scum!'

Speaking on The Kyle and Jackie O Show on Wednesday, 2021 MAFS groom Bryce Ruthven speculated whether producers knew of Blackburn's social media activity before casting him.

It was revealed on Tuesday that Blackburn had been removed from the show after a string of videos resurfaced of him using homophobic and misogynistic language.

Blackburn featured in an early trailer for the series, but a Nine spokesperson confirmed he had since been edited out after the network was made aware of his sick TikTok
