Channel Nine is going big for the upcoming season of Married At First Sight, and it's believed a cheating scandal will feature as the main storyline.
And ahead of the January 31 premiere, sexologist Alessandra Rampolla has reiterated that 'couple swapping' - as it's referred to on the show - will not be tolerated.
Speaking to New Idea, Alessandra said that while infidelity 'reflects human behaviour' and 'is not exclusive to' the experiment, it isn't condoned on MAFS and there will be consequences for cheaters.

The 47-year-old added: 'Inside or outside of the experiment, people who are married and are in committed relationships often cheat. It's for a variety of reasons… often it's more to do with them than the actual relationship.'
