The Bachelor star Holly Kingston is copping backlash for making disparaging comments about reality stars who make a living on OnlyFans.

The influencer, 28, sparked outage on Tuesday when she and boyfriend Jimmy Nicholson, 33, suggested that selling naked photos isn't 'empowering' and that reality stars should promote charities instead of 'grabbing money' by selling nudes.

Critics have since retaliated by leaving cruel comments on Holly's latest sponsored Instagram post.

Holly shared a video of herself trying on luxury fashion items, and some people argued that trying on clothes for money is no different to taking them off.

'Very disappointed to see you using your body like this. Next time please just spend the time donating to charity,' one critic facetiously commented.

'Oh hey look at you using yourself to sell a product. But OnlyFans is BAD. Got it,' another sarcastically added.

Critics couldn't help but point out the irony of Holly using the song that inspired the 1990 film Pretty Woman - which tells the tale of a rich man falling in love with a sex worker.

'Ironic song considering your stance on sex work,' one commented.

'Using Pretty Woman as the song for selling thigh high boots straight out of a movie about female sex work is a beautiful ironic twist here,' another agreed.

However, several fans rushed to defend Holly and her stance on OnlyFans.

'All the people giving Holly grief SHUT UP! Just because Holly and Jimmy have a different view to other celebrities who want to sell themselves online doesn't mean they deserve to be bullied by you! Grow the hell up!' one supporter raged.

Another added: 'Thank you for being so strong to stand in your truth despite online harassment from other public figures trying to force an apology out of you.'
