The Block is known to be a difficult experience for contestants attempting to juggle time crunches and ever-shrinking budgets.
But Sarah-Jane revealed on Wednesday that money and deadlines weren't even the worst part of the whole experience.
The social worker, 30, told 9Now she and husband Tom struggled the most with the 'labour and material shortages' during Living and Dining Room Week.

'There's a lot of labour and material shortages and that was really felt. We just couldn't seem to get our hands on anything and it was just horrific,' Sarah-Jane said.
Despite the difficulties they faced getting the room reveal-ready, the pair said they were proud of the work they accomplished.
Tom, 34, added that he couldn't be happier overall with his experience on the show.
