Lady Gaga has been lovingly trolled by fans for making a fake Boomerang - meaning a brief Instagram video that replays itself.
The 36-year-old pop act recently uploaded a pretend Boomerang in which she swept her hair away from her face while showing off her makeup.
Fans noticed that she was in fact just doing the hand movement twice in real life, rather than getting the video to play on repeat by using the Boomerang feature.

When one Twitter user posted a 'thread of lady gaga doing fake boomerangs,' the pop act's admirers flooded into the replies to warmly make fun of her.
One quipped: 'she put the BOOMER in Boomerang,' while another wrote: 'She’s such a granny on social media,' with a crying emoji.
'I F***ING LOVE HER DUDE,' a fan exclaimed with a crying emoji, adding: 'SHES SO UNSERIOUS HEHESSKS.'
