Indiana Jones 5 director James Mangold blasts trolls spreading rumors of ... trends now

Indiana Jones And The Dial Of Destiny director James Mangold returned to Twitter over the weekend to shut down rumors alleging trouble with the sequel's production.

The 59-year-old filmmaker shot back at claims that he had shot alternate endings and had to do reshoots, presumably at the behest of Disney.

'So I took a b-day break from trolls. But it seems I gotta once again say…We’re not shooting and never shot any new scenes or "alternate endings,"' Mangold clarified on Twitter on Sunday.

Earlier this month, the director shut down claims that Phoebe Waller-Bridge would be replacing Harrison Ford — who appears decades younger than his 80 years in a portion of the film thanks to de-aging technology — by the conclusion of the story.

'Our film is 99% finished, getting rated by MPAA and VFX being completed. Happy Holidays!' the director concluded his tweet.

But one fan of the series couldn't accept the answer, calling it 'bulls***' and claiming that 'all' recent Disney films have been loaded up with alternate scenes.

'It is so kind of you to call me bulls*** but I made Logan and Ford v Ferrari and Indiana Jones 5 and it didn't happen on any of them. I can only speak to my experiences. Be well,' Mangold responded.'

The two may be talking past each other, as Disney does have a track record of altering films, particularly by cutting or editing scenes featuring LGBTQ+ characters for international audiences in China, Russia and the Middle East.

Setting the record straight: 'So I took a b-day break from trolls. But it seems I gotta once again say…We’re not shooting and never shot any new scenes or
