But Simon Cowell, 63, has revealed that 'anxiety and stress' once forced him back out of hosting his own chat show.
The music mogul admitted that despite the set being built he just 'couldn't do it' and walked out of the studio never to return.

Simon was speaking to E! about his American Idol discoveries Kelly Clarkson, 40, and Jennifer Hudson, 41, who both front their own successful shows.
While little is known about the details of Simon's ill fated series he admitted that he was 'offered one once'.
'Literally, I got to the point where they built the set and I started to get anxious and then really stressed out, and I just walked out and I just said I literally couldn't do this'.

Before adding: 'I just couldn't talk to people all day long. I'm not very good at talking.'
In a shake-up of the normal format, it has been claimed Simon Amanda Holden, 51, and Alesha Dixon, 44, will head up to the north of England after filming at the London Palladium for the last two series.

They will also reportedly be joined by a new judge to replace David Walliams, 51, after he allegedly quit the show following his leaked off-air derogatory comments against contestants.
Programme bosses are said to be hoping to see new acts which couldn't afford to travel south for the auditions previously, amid claims viewers were also growing fed up with 'recycled' performers from the Got Talent franchise.
