Dr. Dre is slated to sell a collection of his catalogue and streaming revenues in a deal that is said to be between $200 million and $250 million.
Sources told Variety that the Compton, California native, 57, is in the closing stages of a pact with Shamrock Holdings and Universal Music Group spread over two transactions.
The Beats Electronics founder - who stopped Marjorie Taylor Greene from further using his music on social media earlier this week - had shopped the package, estimated to make around $10 million a year, via his lawyer Peter Paterno, the outlet reported.
