The MAFS experts grilled Shannon Adams on Sunday after he admitted he slept with his ex just a week before joining the social experiment.
The trio of experts and other couples audibly gasped when Shannon made the revelation at the first commitment ceremony in front of his wife Caitlin McConville - and also confessed he was still in love with his ex-fiancée.
A heartbroken Caitlin confessed that Shannon's unresolved feelings for his former flame had put a serious strain on their relationship.

Sitting on the couch for the first commitment ceremony of the season, Shannon said: 'I'm not going to sugarcoat anything. I think I still might be in love with my ex.'
When pressed by the experts on whether he was definitely still in love with his ex or if he was just unsure of his feelings, Shannon repeated: 'I think I might be.'
Expert Mel Shilling took little pity on the groom and asked him if it was true he had been 'intimate' with his ex just a week before the experiment.
