Sheridan Smith shares rare snaps of son Billy, 2, as he poses with World ... trends now

Sheridan Smith shared sweet snaps of son Billy on Thursday as the tot donned boxer Sandy Ryan's World Championship belt - following her win last month. 

The actress, 41, gave a rare insight into family life as she was joined by her athlete pal and joked the prize was a 'bit heavy' for her young son.

Larking around at home ahead of her latest West End perfomance, WBO female Welterweight winner Sandy appeared one of the family as she and Billy playfully posed in a slew of snaps. 

The three-year-old, who actress Sheridan shares with ex Jamie Horn, beamed for the camera as 'auntie Sandy' later held the huge colourful belt around his waist. 

The award-winning actress captioned the snaps: 'My lil boy Billy with his Aunty @sandyryan93 our new world champ! We're so proud of you!'.

Sheridan, who is currently appearing in Shirley Valentine in the Duke of Yorks theatre, was later joined by Sandy backstage.  

The Cilla star looked relaxed in a grey tracksuit as the pair giggled together in her swanky dressing room, later revealing she was so 'relieved' her friend had enjoyed the show.

It comes after Sheridan shared a series of adorable snaps and gushed over her son Billy as she celebrated his third birthday earlier this month.

The Cilla and Funny Girl actress, 41, took to Instagram to mark her son's  big day with a touching tribute, telling fans he had 'changed her life'.

She also shared a sweet selection of snaps, including throwback photos from when he was only weeks old, and more recently at his lavish Grand Prix-themed birthday party.

Alongside the photos, she wrote: '3 years ago today, this little angel changed my life. 

'Happy 3rd birthday Billy! You’re my world! 3/5/2020❤️'
