Queen Latifah served as host for what is the hottest party during the annual Cannes Film Festival, and which raises millions of dollars for AIDS and HIV research and awareness.

Amongst amfAR Gala Cannes' co-chairs are Angela Bassett, Kate Beckinsale, Robert De Niro, Ethan Hawke, Scarlett Johansson, Milla Jovovich, Eva Longoria and Heidi Klum.
