Tammy Slaton, known for appearing on TLC's show 1000-Lb. Sisters, said she is feeling 'great' and 'thankful' after undergoing weight-loss surgery.
The 36-year-old personality - who was recently praised for looking 'healthy' - spoke to People about her recent progress.
She noted, 'I’m feeling great! I’m thankful to be alive, and it’s fun to be progressing as much as I am.'
Following last year's bariatric surgery, she told the publication that she 'wised up' after a near-death experience.
Before her life-saving surgery, she had to be put on a ventilator and placed in a medically induced coma when family members said she had stopped breathing.

Previous weight: The TLC personality had weighed over 700 lbs at one point
Sharing another update with the outlet, Tammy explained, 'I was able to make my lungs strong enough to get my trach [tracheostomy tube for breathing] out, and then recently the doctor cleared me to be off my oxygen machine during the daytime.'
She added, 'Now I only wear my oxygen at night, along with my BiPap machine.
'I monitor my oxygen levels throughout the day and keep my machine on hand in case I need it.'
In a new TikTok upload, Slaton showed show off her amazing 300lb weight loss.
