Inside Liam Hemsworth's '$20million plans to build mega mansion in Byron Bay ... trends now
Liam Hemsworth is all set to carve his own slice of paradise in the Byron Bay hinterland, following the footsteps of his superstar brother, Chris.
According to The Sydney Morning Herald, the Hollywood star, 34, is embarking on the construction of a sprawling abode, with the total cost estimated to exceed $20 million.
Luckily for Byron Bay locals, Liam's new digs won't be as large as the Broken Head residence owned by his big brother Chris and wife Elsa Pataky, which has been dubbed by neighbours as 'Fortress Hemsworth'.
Yet the younger Hemsworth's still promises to be an epitome of luxury, combining sleek design with the serene backdrop of Byron's hinterland.
Liam purchased the sprawling 37 hectare site for $6.8 million in 2021, and the building expenses are anticipated to cost around $14.6 million.

Designed by the acclaimed Melbourne-based SSdH architectural firm, the planned two-storey, pavilion-style home is a marvel of modern architecture, seamlessly blending into the hillside to minimise its environmental impact.
The layout features two open-plan living areas, a rumpus room surrounding an internal courtyard, and luxurious amenities such as a large cabana, terrace, and a nearly 18-meter swimming pool.
Privacy and comfort are paramount, with all five bedrooms
