Kate Garraway tripped over during a chaotic skit Late Night Lycett on Friday when as Danny Dyer pretended to hit a member of the audience. 

The broadcaster, 56, broke out into fits of laughter after suffering a fall before being dragged back up on to her feet by the EastEnders star, 46. 

After being introduced by host Joe Lycett, 35, Kate and Danny, 46, walked hand-in-hand through the crowd. 

But as Danny smashed a fake bottle over the head of a West Ham fan, she let out a scream and stumbled backwards, falling over once again when the actor tried to lead her towards the stage. 

Giggling at the chaos, Kate covered her face with embarrassment before taking her seat with Joe.

It comes as Kate revealed she has been filming for a new project, following the release of her documentary, Kate Garraway: Derek’s Story.

The programme aired last month as the final part of a trilogy of documentaries about the her late husband Derek Draper’s battle with Covid, after he died in January.

TV presenter Kate took to her Instagram on Sunday to share a photo of a bouquet of gorgeous orchids on board her flight, while telling her fans that she had arrived home after flying to a mystery location.
