Married At First Sight's Ridge Barredo found himself at the centre of a controversial radio prank on Tuesday.
The intruder groom was duped into promoting products linked to child labour in a segment which aired on The Kyle and Jackie O show.
Barredo, a 27-year-old psychiatric nurse, was unsuspectingly targeted by rugby star-turned-radio producer Cooper Johns.
Posing as a brand representative, Johns approached Barredo to endorse a fake clothing brand which was mass-produced in China in factories where children earned as little as $2 per hour.
The prank took a dark turn when Ridge agreed to endorse the brand for a hefty $10,000 fee.
