The cause of death of budding TikTok star Eva Evans has been revealed.
The 29-year-old was found hanging inside her New York City apartment with a suicide note left behind, law enforcement sources told TMZ.
The outlet reported that a friend found her body late Saturday night after previously seeing her on Friday morning, and checked on her as they had a key to her apartment.
Sources said she appeared to have hung herself from the ceiling in her living room. Evans was pronounced dead at the scene, as tributes poured in for the promising influencer.
'Yesterday my family received news that our sweet, fabulous, creative, caring, hilarious Eva, my beautiful sister, has died,' the "Club Rat creator's sister Lila Joy said in a post revealing the tragic news.
'After 24 hours, I still find myself in a constant cycle of denial and acceptance, so I know how unbelievable and hard to process this news will be,' added Joy.
