Going on Married At First Sight wasn't an easy decision for Gabrielle Bartlett.
When she was decided to move into a separate apartment with 'husband' Nasser Sultan, it meant leaving her daughter River, 11, to stay with relatives.
On Thursday, Gab told Talking Married she was lucky the show was filmed near her Sydney home because she wanted to both protect her from, and involve her in the experiment.

The 44-year-old trusted her pre-teen daughter to understand the complexity of what is essentially an arranged marriage, broadcast to the entire country.
'I had River with me along for the ride the entire time in terms of what the experiment was all about, and why,' she said.
'I wanted very much to have her sit in a place where I was very transparent with her.'
Gab then implied there was some information about her relationship with Nasser that she kept secret,
