Chicago Fire fans were shocked when star DuShon Monique Brown suddenly passed away in March.
And now it's known what killed her.
According to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office in Chicago, the 49-year-old died from sepsis, or blood poisoning triggered by an infection.
High blood pressure and obesity were other contributing factors in her death, the report stated, as reported Thursday by UsWeekly.
