Police have urged any members of a Kent-based gambling syndicate with concerns over their investments to come forward.

On Tuesday, Sportsmail revealed that millions of pounds of members' money had been used by Layezy Racing for the purchase of 23 horses, without their knowledge.

It is alleged that the cash, which those who had invested thought was being used to place bets, has been used by Layezy owner Mike Stanley to buy and train the animals.
