The startling resurrection of Dan Evans's career continued on Saturday when he toppled American number one John Isner to reach the second ATP final of his career.

The 28 year-old Midlander was giving away a foot in height but his superior skill saw him win 3-6 6-2 6-3 and make the championship match at the Delray Beach Open in Florida.

Evans was left awaiting the winner of Moldova's Radu Albot and American McKenzie MacDonald. Both are ranked in the eighties and eminently beatable.
