Callum Hudson-Odoi's remarkable season has taken another dramatic twist as the teenager has been called into England's senior squad.
The Chelsea winger left his home in London on Monday morning to join up with the Under-21 team for their forthcoming friendlies with Poland and Germany. He arrived at their base in Bristol at 11.30am after a 140-mile journey and went straight for lunch.
No sooner had the 18-year-old sat down, though, he was summoned by Under-21 head coach Aidy Boothroyd and told that another car was waiting for him to take another 140-mile journey from Bristol to St George's Park, where he met up with Gareth Southgate.

Boothroyd had planned to give him his first Under-21 cap against Poland at Ashton Gate on Thursday but now it is almost certain Hudson-Odoi — who has played just 119 minutes in the Premier League this season — will feature in the Euro 2020 qualifiers against the Czech Republic and Montenegro.
'Callum is a phenomenal talent,' said Boothroyd. 'I'm disappointed he's not going to be here but I do have to say it's great. I told him "I've
